    Frequently asked questions

    How much does certification cost?

The learning for certification is included in Premium Membership. You can join annually for $250 (about $20.83 a month)* or monthly for $30.

    Why is annual membership recommended?

You need to have held Premium (or Nurse Education Program) membership for more than 6 months. Annual covers that in one payment, gives you a full year to complete the modules, and costs $110 less than 12 months of monthly billing.

    Who can sign my statements?
    • Currency of Employment Statement: your Approved Employer Representative.
    • Statement of Competency: an Approved Employer Representative (Anaesthetic Clinical Nurse Educator, Anaesthetic Nursing Unit Manager, Perianaesthesia Clinical Nurse Consultant or a Nurse Practitioner working within anaesthesia).
    • Statement of Competency: an ANZCA-trained anaesthetist with at least 6 months of experience working with you.

Signatures are only accepted electronically. Scanned documents will not be accepted.

My hospital has the Nurse Education Program. Am I eligible?

Yes. Current Nurse Education Program membership counts toward the membership requirement in the same way as Premium Membership.

Where can I see the full requirements?

The full requirements and electronic signature links are at periopconcepts.com/certified. For questions, contact Sophie Dash, Chief Curriculum Officer, at [email protected].
