Australasian Perioperative Educators Conference – Terms & Conditions
1. Confirmation Process
1.1. Once you have completed your online registration form, please check your order carefully before confirming it. After you have made payment, submitted, and confirmed your reservation, we will process your booking immediately. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation from us outlining your order details.
1.2. If you do not receive our email confirmation within 24 hours of submitting your online registration form, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible before the start of the conference. It is your responsibility to update us with any changes to your contact details so we can communicate with you. Please email [email protected] to update or change your personal or contact details.
1.3. These Terms & Conditions and the Agreement are made only in the English language.
2. Event Details, Fees, and Payment
2.1. The Australasian Perioperative Educators Conference (APEC) will be held in person in Fitzroy, Melbourne on Friday 31 October 2025.
2.2. Early Bird Pricing runs until Sunday 21 September 2025 at 23:59 pm AEST and is $495.00 inc. GST.
2.3. From Monday 22 September 2025 until Thursday 23 October 2025 at 17:00 pm AEST (when ticket sales close), tickets will be $595.00 inc. GST.
2.4. Ticket prices are correct and up-to-date at the time of your purchase.
2.5. All payments are collected through a third-party platform (Stripe). Periop Concepts assumes no responsibility for any malfunctions, errors, or issues with this platform.
- Copyright / Intellectual Property
3.1. Any and all intellectual property (IP) in the conference materials shall remain our sole and exclusive property (or that of the appropriate third-party owner(s), if any). You shall not acquire any rights in such materials, including any developments or variations of them. Nothing in this Agreement grants you any IP rights in the conference materials. You agree not to reproduce, sell, or copy (in whole or in part) the conference material, except for post-conference reference purposes that we may supply. If you wish to use the conference materials for any other purpose, please email [email protected].
4. Data Protection
4.1. When you provide us with your personal details (including but not limited to your first and last name, date of birth, and email address), we will store and manage this information in accordance with the Periop Concepts Privacy Policy, available at periopconcepts.com.
5. Ticketing
5.1. Your APEC ticket is only valid for the Australasian Perioperative Educators Conference to be held in Fitzroy, Melbourne on 31 October 2025. It is not redeemable for future Periop Concepts events.
5.2. Periop Concepts Premium Memberships do not attract any further discounts.
5.3. All tickets are fully refundable up until 4 weeks prior to the event (Friday 3 October 2025). After this date, tickets are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your ticket, please email [email protected].
5.4. All tickets are non-transferable.
5.5. Educators and managers who are part of our Nurse Education Program are entitled to one (1) complimentary ticket and up to two (2) additional tickets at 50% off. Discount codes will be provided directly to these teams.
6. Behaviour
6.1. APEC and its organisers prohibit discrimination, harassment, and bullying against any person for any reason. The organisers reserve the right to remove you from the conference if you engage in such conduct. Your ticket will not be refunded if you are removed from the event.
6.2. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the conference. Periop Concepts accepts no responsibility for any misconduct arising from the consumption of alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
7. General
7.1. Amendments and Changes: We may revise the conference program, including (but not limited to) speakers, topics, and presentation times. We will post the most current version on our website and/or social media as soon as possible after changes are made. Please check our website or social media regularly.
